Land Surveying Science Technicians use a variety of tools to take precise measurements to determine property lines. Their work defining the shape and contour of land is used for maps, building projects and engineering. As a Land Surveying Science Technician, you will create site plans, maps, survey plats, utility drawings and 3D drawings using computer-aided drafting software. Your work will include performing calculations in geodesy, projections, astronomic surveys and photogrammetry.
